When I was working at Middlebury, we wanted to produce a series of videos showcasing many of their study-abroad locations. It would have been too expensive to send a video team to each location, so instead, we hired and taught students how to shoot videos on their smartphones. From there, we conducted interviews with them once they returned to campus and edited them into short little vignettes about their time abroad.
